Privacy Policy

When you submit the booking form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), preferred style and size, body placement description, any reference links you paste, and your preferred language for communication.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The only locally-stored value is a tiny preference flag that remembers you've dismissed the cookie notice.

Your booking submission is forwarded to Sova's personal inbox via Resend (a transactional email service). It is used solely to respond to your request and coordinate your appointment.

We will never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Booking inquiries are retained in Sova's inbox for as long as the artist–client relationship is active, plus a reasonable archive period for tax and record-keeping purposes (typically up to 7 years). Email logs at Resend are retained per their privacy policy.

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request deletion. Email tattoo.by.sova@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. New York City law requires clients to be 18 or older to be tattooed, and proof of age is checked at the studio.

During or after a session, Sova may take photographs of the finished work for portfolio and social media use. You will always be asked first, and you may decline without affecting your appointment in any way. Photographs of the work itself (without your face or identifying features) may be used unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

This website is hosted on Vercel. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Vercel may collect basic, anonymous request logs (IP address, user agent, request path) for security and operational purposes.

If we materially change how we handle your information, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date above. Returning visitors will see the new date and can review the changes.
